Day 59 & 60

We have some bad weather coming through and the internet has been spotty. I was very afraid I wouldn't be able to post tonight.

OH NO!

I apologize for not having a picture yesterday, it was the first day I actually forgot. I worked 3ed shift Monday and slept till 2. My church is having its annual winter retreat this weekend of which I help with a lot of the graphics and publication. It is a lot of fun hard work. I will have a picture + 1 today!

Today my son and I visited a local Military Surplus store and out side the stors is an old WW2 AA gun. We decided to stop and take a few pictures.

I have to use a "replay" card today. These are a few pictures I took a couple of years ago but I did go over them and refine them in Lightroom today. It is from one of my first weddings. I will have a fresh picture tomorrow!

This photo started out rather bland and boring but after some cropping and B&W work I have really started to like it.

I decided to try some more night shots this time using my 14-24 and I am much more pleased with the way they have turned out. I still want to get up to the parkway while the air is clear for a genuine attempt at a star field shot.

This was the second snow of the year. I was able to get a few shots of it while I was at work.

My wife knitted some socks for a friend and she wanted to catalog them before she wrapped them up. I thought this shot turned out well.

On the right blog! Today while I was at work some of the clients played basketball. I snapped a few shots and liked this one the best.

I am the proud new owner of a Nikon Nikor 14-24mm 2.8 Lens. It is amazing!

February: a new month. This month I will focus on relationships. My wife made this mitten for herself (she has another one too) after all of her holiday gift knitting was over.
